Clothing…continued

I’d imagine you’re not the only one in the house who has clothing that needs to be tossed. My daughter has a whole pile of clothes which she’s grown out of. The difference is, I have to save all of her clothes in case of another child. You never know.

That brings me to the age-old question we moms love to ask each other. Are you done? Moms will know what I mean by this question. We love to ask it. And it’s a great question to ask because it can be asked multiple times with appropriate intervals in between the askings. So are you?

We are really iffy on this subject. At first, we wanted at least three kids. The idea of having a large adult family really appeals to me. Having a preschooler, a toddler, and an infant, however, do not. Give me a couple of years, and I might want kids again. But first I need some time to forget the sleep deprivation and diapers.

So anyway, I’d love to hear your feelings on this topic. And oh yeah. Go toss (or box up) someone else’s clothing today. Call it your good deed.

Ok, I’m inspired to box up the clothes today!

The thought of having 3 adult children appeals to me also - but I suppose there is a price to pay for that. lol My 3 kids are teenagers now (the youngest is actually 12.75 going on 18!) and it has been fun watching them interract all these years. The oldest 2 are introverts, so I think it would have been quiet if we had never had the third! Going from 2 to 3 was huge for us though because it’s busier, more expensive (tuition, etc.), and more mind consuming.

Isn’t it funny how the 2nd is always a given, and the 3rd is such a HUGE decision?! I’ve always wanted a big family…what appeals to me are the Holiday get-togethers. :) Having my 5 kids bring their families home. Spoiling the multitudes of grandchildren.
And, granted, when the boys are being a delight, how could you not want to add to the numbers?
    Right this second, though?
I feel I’m done! I was woken up 3 times last night, and had to change a dirty diaper at 5 am.
Maybe in a few years we’ll reopen the issue ;-)

I must tell you that being the mom of a preschooler, a toddler and a newborn isnt that bad. My oldest son and daughter and 13 months apart to the day and my youngest son and daughter are 15 months apart. Yes, life is a little crazy, but to tell you, I wouldnt have it any other way. I have learned to love the chaios, the screaming, the fighting and all of the unpredictabilities. I feel like I have not slept in three years, but at this point, cafeine will get you through it, the biggest help has been to have them all on the same eating and napping schedule, the rest of the day is just up in the air, but hey its loads of fun! so i would say go fot it! and most certainly DONT get rid of anything, even with my 3 I have not given anything away, its just stored in plastic bins and put away for the next one, but if you ask my husband he says we are done, but you know how that goes, he said that two kids ago. :)
